A massive week of cheese celebrations are headed our way this year and it might just be what gets us through the winter blues.
First up, WA Cheese Week is back from 27 May to 2 June and cheese-lovers can expect loads of cheese tastings, cheese making classes and meet the maker opportunities stretching from Denmark to Gingin.
Then, to top the week off, an immersive cheese festival is hitting Perth from 1 to 2 June. A completely sustainable event, curds&WAy is all about celebrating the best of the best in Western Australian produce. On show, there’ll be over 24 cheeses from 12 producers, as well as all the perfect accompaniments including wine, beer, specialty meats, relishes and honey.
There are a few sessions to choose from and your ticket includes cheese tastings, wine on arrival in a keepsake cup and access to workshops. It’s all going down at the Midland Junction Arts Centre.
When: 27 May to 2 June
Where: MJAC, 276 Great Eastern Highway, Midland
